This painting, entitled “accountability,” commemorates a nighttime video shoot at Chester Bowl for a song entitled “Do you think you protect me?” by Duluth-based musician Emily Haavik. I was one of the dancers. This painting was created from a reference photo I took during a break in the rehearsal for the choreography. Prints are available. Music video below:
